CINEMEX SAFETY POLICY
Alcohol Service Policy
We value being a well-respected and responsible member of the community. For this reason, we have adopted the following policies regarding the sale and service of alcohol within our theatre:
- Anyone wishing to purchase, possess and/or consume an alcoholic beverage must be 21 years of age or older and is required to provide proof of such age
- The only acceptable forms of Identification are an unexpired: State Driver's License, US Passport, US Picture Government ID, US Picture Military ID
- Anyone wishing to possess and/or consume an alcoholic beverage must be wearing a CMX issued alcohol wristband
- Alcohol Wristbands must be worn on the RIGHT wrist of each guest and placed there only by an authorized member of our staff
- Alcohol Wristbands must be visible to theatre staff at all times
- No alcohol may be brought into or out of the building.
- Alcohol is not to be possessed or consumed in the restrooms
- No more than one (1) alcohol drink can be sold to a guest at one time
- Alcohol can only be served and consumed in specified plasticware authorized and issued by CMX Cinemas
- Any guest displaying signs of intoxication, at the sole discretion of management will have alcohol service discontinued and may be required to leave the premise.
- CMX Cinemas reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any one at any time for any reason
Zero Tolerance Policy
CMX Cinemas has a zero tolerance policy which will result in the immediate removal of any & all guests involved in any of the following alcohol-related situations:
- Possessing, attempting to possess or consuming alcohol if under 21 years of age
- Attempting to purchase alcohol with a false ID
- Purchasing or attempting to purchase/provide alcohol to someone under 21 years of age
- Giving or attempting to give an Alcohol Wristband to another guest
- Attempting to enter or leave the building with alcohol
- Intoxication
- Any other alcohol-related issue deemed inappropriate by Management
Safety Rules
At CMX Cinemas, we are dedicated to ensuring an enjoyable and quality movie and dining experience for all guests. For this reason, please note our policies regarding the following:
- Possession of weapons (actual or imitation) and other potentially hazardous objects is prohibited
- Backpacks/bags 15” X 12” or larger are subject to search prior to entry
- Devices including but not limited to Google Glass & similar technologies capable of recording must be off and stored completely out of view
- Age policy: 21+ for all shows beginning after 8pm. Guests 3-20 are welcome with a parent/guardian to shows beginning 8pm or earlier. ID required.
- We would like for all guests to enjoy dressing up as their favorite characters, although masks/hoods/face paint or costumes that cover the face are prohibited. Props such as character related weapons are also prohibited.
- Recording or taking still photos of any on-screen content is a crime and will be prosecuted
- No excessive or loud talking is permitted during the featured presentation
- No use of profanity or disruptive behaviors
- Over consumption of alcohol or signs of intoxication is strictly prohibited
- Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time
- No possession and/or use of illegal drugs of any kind
- No loitering or solicitation in or around the building including the theatre parking lot
Additionally, please note:
- No outside food or beverage is permitted
- Where applicable, opened or unopened alcohol is not permitted to be taken out of the building
- Not responsible for lost or stolen items
- Proper attire is required at the sole discretion of Management
Report any of these instances or suspicions to Management. Failure to adhere to any of these policies could result in the expulsion of the individual and party from the property.
